Center for Public Economy & Public Policy Research, Chongqing University, formerly known as Chongqing University Population, Resources, Environmental Economics and Management Research Center, and it was formally established in April 2001.
The center has formed a powerful and reasonable scientific research team. Among the full-time researchers, there are 10 professors, 15 associate professors, and 15 lecturers; more than 90% have doctoral degrees; more than 30% have more than one year of overseas study experience. The team’s education structure and age structure are reasonable.
In the past five years, the research center has undertaken key projects of the National Social Science Foundation, major research projects of philosophy and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Social Science Foundation of China, major soft science research projects of the National Development and Reform Commission, and major decision-making consulting projects in Chongqing Research projects , with a total of 119 projects and 21 million yuan scientific research funding, 331 papers published in CSSCI and above, which has produced a great academic influence and social reputation.
